"I was blown away from this hotel. I should stay for 1 week in August 2020, but unfortunately after 2 days I had to leave due to immense changes in quarantine restrictions in the United Kingdom. However during my short stay, Ana made me very welcome and went out of her way to ensure that my needs were met. My double room was spacious and immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable. I had 2 breakfasts of 3 courses each, as well as herbal teas and juice, made from scratches according to their understanding of my vegan diets. The food was amazing. From the bay of Cavtat you can get a water taxi in Dubrovnik and go to the old ones. City walls or the short cable car to the top of the hill where you can see the whole city. I will come back here as soon as I am aware for a longer time that in June, July and August the old city is usually extremely busy, says the hotel owner that she would normally stay away at these times. Because I was there during the Covid 19 situation, the streets were much quieter than usual and I could get a good look around me without feeling overcrowded. Dubrovnik in any case is a beautiful city and where many Game of Thrones scenes have been shot, and is worth a visit if you stay in Cavtat."

"The menu has a few items that are vegan or can be veganised, and staff understand what vegan is. I had the vegan pizza which came with ‘vegan cheese’ vegetables. The vegan cheese was actually shredded smoked tofu. It was nice but a little salty and there was a bit too much for me (they were very generous with portion which is usually great). The pizza itself was huge and the base was good. I also had a seasonal salad on the side which was nice and fresh. The cocktails were not amazing. Updated from previous review on 2022-06-01"
