"I went out this afternoon to find some beauty spots around bridgwater for photos. Unfortunately, the light was not great, so now I opened and went to the new elysian caffe on the new road in bridgwater, between the bus station and the st. john’s street. I ordered a cappuccino and their Russian style crêpes with hut cheese, strawberry sauce and frozen berries. the food was delicious and beautiful presented (see picture and the owner was really friendly. they offer cash as well as card payments and are open until late (for a caffe). the atmosphere feels like one, many plants and natural wood decoration with low hanging lights and slower, soothing music. eating, the atmosphere, the service was all brilliant. absolutely recommended, 11/10."

"I'm giving a 5* review because we have been twice and really enjoyed it. It's a nice environment, food is good and so is the service. One complaint from my visit last night, is that my £7.50 glass of white wine wasn't chilled, which in a restaurant charging those prices isn't acceptable. Otherwise, highly recommended."

"This place is a sanctuary in Bridgwater, it is a media centre with a hive of activity going on behind the cafe doors and really friendly staff. The cafe itself is also an Internet cafe with really fast wifi and plays good music off vinyl. For a place without a full kitchen space the food is a good selection of curries and soups with a majority Vegan menu (if not then vegetarian There are always community artists looking to get people involved in latest creative projects and in the summer you get locals playing chess out the front who are likely to invite you for a game if you're willing. On Tuesdays there is a public drop in where members of the public can use the studio for free and have access to technical and creative support while using film/photography equipment and have access to an iMac. Somerset Film who occupy the Engine Room also have lots of workshops and courses going on, so it's worth looking them up first to see if there is any projects you can get involved in if you want more than just veggie food and access to the net :"
