"Was really looking forward to trying out this place, as it always looks busy in the evenings. Ordered fish and chips with mushy peas on takeaway. Partner asked for salt only on the chips and we ended up with salt AND vinegar. Mushy peas were a questionable luminous green and virtually no taste to them. The whole meal was also tepid warm, despite venturing just up the road with our food. Unfortunately won’t be trying again. "A must place to visit, freshly cooked skinless fish in either traditional batter or bread crumbs, I had the pleasure of having bread crumbs and it's the best fish I've ever had, the chips were perfect and the staff were very helpful and friendly."

"Certainly not the worst chippie I visited, but also not the best. the staff seems friendly enough, but the service is pretty slow. prices are reasonable and the unit sizes are average. quality is not too bad, although I had much better chips from others."

"We have visited this chip shop more than once and every time we go the chips are overcooked(been sitting in the hot hold) for too long.the prices are reasonable but we would rather go to one of the other(nicer)chip shops in the area.the staff are friendly and they have a wide range on offer,it's the food seems of poor quality or cooking standard."
