"We went in one lunchtime during a storm. We tried to sit at an empty table but the woman owner told us to go away! My partner then wanted to use the toilet but the woman told us to go away again. She was serving other people but she didn't need to be so impolite. Then she said service could be possible in 15 minutes. We waited outside at in the doorway. The owner knew we were there waiting but she never came to let us know there was a table. We waited forty minutes as the storm was really bad. We eventually decided to leave although it was still pouring with rain. We got absolutely soaked. If we had been able to stay in the restaurant we would have eaten and drank until the rain stopped. The restaurant was not full and some of the guests left while we were there, so there were tables. We were hiking. Maybe the woman owner doesn't like hikers. The woman owner should go on a course to improve her service and manners. Whatever the case we won't be going back."

"En randonnée sur le GR 52 du Mercantour, je me suis présenté au gîte vers 13h00, trempé de sueur et très fatigué. J'avais réservé 3 demi-pensions depuis janvier 2016.J'ai demandé la possibilité de se doucher avant de déjeuner, refus de la patronne. Nous avons pris des boissons et trois plats du jour à 17 euros chacun (prix exorbitant).J'ai redemandé la possibilité de se doucher après le déjeuner, refus, crise de nerfs de la patronne, le serveur m'a traité de "casse burnes".On m'a dit que l'accès au dortoir ne peut se faire qu'à partir de 17h00. devant mon insistance, nous avons pu avoir la douche après 15 heures.Le touriste qui passe avec sa voiture est chouchouté mais le randonneur est traité comme un chien. J'ai laissé un chèque de plus de 238 euros, même pas un digestif offert !!!!!Evitez ce gîte, allez à Sospel si vous en avez le courage ou descendez vers le col de Turini. Signé "Le casse-burne""
