"The Pizzeria San Giovanni in Oberthal is a guarantee of good Italian cuisine. We were no longer there for a long time, but the positive impressions of the past visits were confirmed again. The welcome by the operator Agostino, simply called “August” by many guests, was as always very friendly and warm. The service is very good, ordering and waiting times for drinks and food are very pleasant, you pay great attention to cleanliness, all tables are covered with fresh tablecloths. We decided again for our favorite pizza “Pazza” with peppers, onions, peperoni sausages and green peperoni spicy. In large it costs 7,50€, the small one, from which a “good” eater is fed only 6,50€. The pizza was completely according to our taste: not too sharp, all ingredients fresh, the dough loosely airy, not too hard baked and luxuriant. As a companion for dinner we chose a dry, fruity, well-tempered Frascati and a freshly tapped Pils, after which there were two espresso. Invoicing amount 22,50€. Conclusion: good Italian cuisine at a small price, good service. 100% recommended. Only Manko: few parking spaces."
