"I was 3 times, 1 x lunch 2 x dinner. the chips were perfect each time. very nice chips. the cod was fresh and juicy, on the skin (I prefer skin off). the teig was not quite crispy, even if my fish was wound separately. the broken sausage was crispy and also really delicious. looks like a big chip shop for me. it's a light shame that they let customers stand outside, it's just not very welcoming. even though the staff who served me were friendly and professional. I'm looking forward to a visit."

"My family and I love a little stroll down the strawberry line to The Railway for a drink. My boys love playing in the garden so it means hubby and I can enjoy a fairly quiet drink whilst they are entertained. We've not had a full meal there, but we shared some bowls of chips. Decent portion size, and tasty. Good drinks selection as well. Staff are always super friendly, and helpful as well, carrying drinks for me when we had scooters to carry to our table as well. "Very disappointed by such a limited selection of cakes to go with coffee, and they did not seem to be made home, not what they would expect from a caffe in conjunction with a farm shop. that said the coffee was good and enjoyed the roasted tee cake."

"Me and my wife have been there fishing first time (but definitely not last time on the 11th of May Monday. We had a great time. This place is the best ever for fishing, and relaxing. Phil is the best host ever. Friendly and smiley. We cought planty of lovely fishes, which was a great experience. By the way, the toilet was cleaner then most of the hotel's toilet. : Which made my wife even more happy. We will be back there as soon as we can for sure. Great place, great host. "After 2 days traveling in Bristol on our way back to train station we just saw an not visible pub and de side to eat something and Surprize: so authentic pub with nice interior lovely stuff tasty bear and delicious food.
