"Kommentare abgeben ist nicht, was wir wirklich gerne machen. Da wir hier nichts gefunden haben (warum eigentlich?) müssen wir einfach etwas schreiben. Der Klingenzellerhof ist ein Idyll, wie es in der Schweiz nur noch selten zu finden ist. Tagsüber Pilgerstädte und abends eine Oase der Ruhe. Kleine, ehrliche Karte. Günstige Preise und super freundliches Serviceteam. Das Restaurant hat Herz und Seele. Riz Casimir kostet 23.00 Franken, ein Wurst-Käse Salat 12.00 Franken einfach/ 16.00 Franken garniert. Für uns aus Zürich sind das Preise fast wie in Deutschland. Ein Glas Prosecco kostet 6 Franken - da traut man seinen Augen kaum. 5 dl Freundenfelser Blauburgunder 19 Franken. Der Hauswein ist gut und wir haben für den gleichen Preis in Zürich schon 2dl deutlich schlechteren Wein getrunken. Apropos Deutsch: Die Servicemitarbeiter sind teils aus dem "grossen Kanton", wohnen und leben aber in der Schweiz und zeigen, wie freundlicher, guter und unaufdringlicher Service geht. Vielen Dank dafür. In Zürich wird das Personal zunehmend nach "Swissness" eingestellt. Ob den Wirten wirklich klar ist, wie kühl junge, gutaussehende Damen zu den Gästen sein können? Ob wir wiederkommen? Keine Frage! Wer Natur pur liebt ist im Klingenzellerhof bestens aufgehoben, besonders wenn Kinder zur Familie gehören. Von Zürich aus in 45 Minuten zu erreichen. Mann sollte hier allerdings den Dauerstau in den Abendstunden vor Winterthur zeitlich umgehen. Sollten wirklich heisse Tage in diesem Sommer noch kommen, hoffen wir dort auf einen kühlen und schattigen Platz. Wir werden berichten, ob es noch gut ist."
