"We have eaten with two adults and one child there. pizza is only available in one size, no exception for children. the pizza with special desire, i.e. occupied with mais and paprika, came with mais and peperoni! the salad was made with too much noble, the paprika came out of the glass and the pieces were so big that I had to cut everything small. an ahnengast seemed to be the villager, behave badly and contain odour."

"Hotel Strandhalle is a lovely hotel with a top- notch restaurant. I would say the restaurant is the hotel's best feature. It has wonderful food and a lovely view over the water. And the rooms were comfortable enough. The biggest drawback for me was the lack of elevator. I traveled with family members, and we are all in our 60's. We are traveling for a few weeks, so we had one large suit case and one small suitcase each, as well as a couple little articles (camera cases, etc.). Our rooms were on the third floor. With no elevator, and absolutely no one to help with the luggage, it was a struggle to get everything upstairs. Since the hotel is new, not built into an old building as so many are, I can't see any reason why there couldn't be an elevator. And there are steps everywhere on the ground floor. That was no problem for us, but for the elderly or wheelchair-bound, this hotel is impossible. I also found it a bit pricey. And there was one misunderstanding on my part. Perhaps I did not read or understand the hotel's website, but I reserved a garage for 9 euros a night because I thought that was the only way to obtain parking at the hotel. But the hotel has a free parking lot, the fee was for an actual garage, which we didn't need. The staff was courteous but "distant" - this was not a place to get a lot of personal attention."
