I like the fish and chips that are undoubtedly the best in the area and are best available in British coastal areas. My wife had the excellent ribs but needed a bag to bring half of the home I enjoyed the next day. My son went for the burger with onion rings and there was a lot of choice for my daughter who is vegan. Menu for all pallets, good Cornish caught beer, Guinness and a large wine list. If you live within 50K, it is a must and if you are worth a distraction on holiday."

"Visited on Saturday lunchtime, it was very busy and we were warned that there would be a wait for food, but we weren't in a hurry. All the other customers were French. Bilingual service was friendly and promt. British pub type food, we both had fish and chips which were well cooked. Beer and cider on draft. There are a few tables outside and a restaurant area inside. There are a few stools at the bar and a couple of tables for drinkers only."
