"We came here on a recommendation and would highly recommend it. We came on a Friday lunch and it was packed with locals which is usually a good sign. We had the menu at with foie gras or scallops; a very good locally sourced...steak; a small cheeseboard or grilled Brie with rhubarb and a crepe with seasonal fruit. The wine list is exceptional and extremely well priced against UK prices. (The owner is a sommelier and it shows in the large wine list). You can eat much cheaper too with a lot of different menus. We’ll definitely come back and whilst this is not Michelin star cooking it is very competent. Price value is excellent which is why it gets five stars"
