"West Island noodles is famous for its hand drawn noodles. we ordered online via their website and eating is always on time. eating is really fresh, tasty and the broth is easy, not too heavy. we always couple the noodles with chili oil, which adds a quantity of umami without being too sharp. a great little spot on the west island!"

"Moosoo is a small restaurant, in a small shop center, besides a convenience store on St-Jean st. The outside doesn't do justice to the inside. Of course not a palace, but a little trip to asia. Small tables, just besides the food preparation area. The...menu is complete. Sushis, tempuras, bentos, kimchi. The cook knows her job, and the food is prepared on the spot. In addition to giving a special ambience, many little asian-themed items are for sale, as well as drinks and snacks. Since the visuals tell a lot about the different sushis, the best reference is to look a their actual web page. (www.moosoosushi.com) We've been there three times and the food quality is consistent. This is good news. I can only hope that such a small number of tables is enough to let them earn their living and stay open for a while."

"We tried this restaurant on a lark and were completely taken by surprise. It is a small (possibly 12-15 table) Chinese restaurant that you can easily miss driving by. Do yourself a favor! If you are in the west Island and crave China town style cooking and portions try this place. On our visit we sampled 8 different plates and all were exceptionally tasty with substantial portions. Shrimp in Lobster Sauce, Salt and Pepper Squid, Cantonese Chow Mein, General Tao, Crispy duck ... each dish well prepared and very tasty..Service is fast and friendly. Prices are very reasonable...Make it a favorite place to grab a great Chinese dinner!"

"I went for lunch today and couldn’t believe my eyes when the server dropped the metal tongs on the ground, picked them up and just rinsed them off and used them to put the beef in my bento box…I was horrified and disgusted. Please put the tongs in the sink, wash them with SOAP later and use another pair of tongs in the meantime…totally unsanitary. When I went to say something the server was already serving someone else as there were a few other customer in line. Perhaps they can buy more tongs and keep sanitary standards. This will bother me for a long time. I hope these restaurants get frequent visits from the health department."
