"DIssapointed from the moment we arrived, booked a family room. very diasapointed that the there was no lift, or no consierage on a saturday afternoon and especially as this was a four star hotel. Room had a strong smell of stale tobbacco and it was clear that it had not been used for a while, the fridge was broken, the lights by the bed did not work and the decoration was cheap with loose sockets by the bed covered with plastic. I have stayed in nicer 2 star hotels, it should be reviewed for its 4 stars and it should be made clear there is not lift, this is a big issue as we had a disabled son and i have to carry him up and down. on the positive side the staff were nice, although i am concerned that there were only three working and one doubled up as the cook and cleaner!"

"We had dinner at this restaurant about 5 years ago. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next night--the owners were delighted. We returned this year, and while the format has changed to a "menu" style (no a la carte) the food was still just as good. The ownership is still the same."
