"I can 't fathom why this great little restaurant hasn 't had a review before . Carlos and Galyna had a restaurant on the opposite side of the road for many years and moved into these new premises at the start of 2020. The food has been excellent every time we 've been . Their pizzas are the best I 've ever had but if you don 't fancy that , they have a great menu with lots of choices of portuguese style meat and fish dishes and pasta dishes so I defy anyone not to find something on the menu that they fancy. The new resturant is very smart and clean and Galyna is so welcoming and friendly and really makes you feel at home. The prices are very reasonable wine list is not too extensive but there are some good wines available also at reasonable price. The main body of the restaurant is below street level and ideal if you want to escape the sun and the heat. Carlos and Galyna 's restaurant will always be on our go to list . They are throughly decent , hard working people who deliver good food and service at a very reasonable prices. Highly recommended."

"We visited this restaurant on our first night before unpacking, fortunately they are open to non residents and made us feel very welcome. Something for everyone including veggie options on the menu, good service and the staff appear to enjoy working there, always happy and attentive. Large portions, didn’t have to wait ages and good choice of drinks. We returned another evening and also popped in for breakfast one morning; a wide choice of pastries/fruit/cereal/meats and full english. It’s a little way out of the main eating area in Luz but there is car parking and the walk sets you up for a lovely evening and a leisurely dinner. I’d happily stay as a guest and would certainly return to the restaurant."

"This restaurant had a very friendly atmosphere and the food was very good and tasty. Wide variety of meat dishes and pizzas! The plus is the fact that you can order in advance gluten free pizza and desserts and it’s absolutely fantastic! The owners are a very nice couple we are definitely going to come back"
