"We had dinner here twice. Between the two visits we tried all of the main dishes on the set menu and liked them all dan dan rice, curry rice, sesa,e mppd;es. curry noodles, house ramen and potstickers. The appetizers were varied, and included tofu with seaweed, more seaweed and unusual vegetables. Dessert was a nice azuki beans with sticky rice. The setting was tranquil This was one of the nicest and best dinners we had on our trip."

"Very tasty and cheap vegetarian buffet! they separate the tongs that touch the egg, so it is vegan-safe and Buddhist-friendly! they pay weight on their teller. they have a lot of directed, from bamboo shoots to sauteed greens to tofu and bean curd. they did not use mock (on visual inspection), only bean curd. that said I couldn't really ask because my Chinese aren't good."

"The okonomiyaki was very greasy and was flooded with oil on the bottom of the bowl but it tasted okay. The soup had no flavor...at least the owner was nice."

"I had heard of Uncle Pete's and, despite visiting Taitung many times, had never been. I visited last night, with the family, and had what I can only describe as the best pizza I've ever had in Taiwan. The atmosphere was great to boot. Gonna be a regular from now on."

"Average pizza, the service was sufficient and the staff were attentive. What annoyed me was, there was some kind of unexplained service charge added on top of the bill. It was only a small amount.. but why and for what ? just hide it in the overall bill if you want more money..."
