"We had Easter Sunday here and was it worthwhile, the answer was most certainly yes, the four of us started with a cheese souffle and a plate of 3 ages of pecorino with local cured meats, delicious. Next was thin pasta sheets with pigeon sauce and the complexity of flavours and the just cooked pasta were to die for. The other two pasta dishes were also top notch. Our first choice mains were finished (roast lamb) so we did rolled rabbit and braised veal (think peppery beef bougurgne). Both were spot on and didn't need the side of simply grilled veggies bit we had to try them again simple well seasoned, again delicious. Desert was cheesecake which was just like like nothing else I have tasted before. Huge thumbs up from everyone else as well. And house chianti, top notch."

"Incredibly good pizza and service. We stopped by La Vecchia Piazza for a more casual meal after many evenings of formal dining. It appeared that the place was full of locales as we seemed to be the only English speaking patrons. The two pizzas, one margharita and one eggplant, were a true delight and the service/hospitality was even better. We would definitely recommend without hesitation. The best pizza that we've ever had in Italy and we have had plenty. Best wishes."

"We had just the best steak alla Fiorentina here, which is their specialty. Min. is 1 kg, which was enough for four people for dinner. As ladies didn’t like it mediul rare (is they make it) they took their pieces back for extra grilling and it was perfect. Also the mixed appetizer of the house was superb. Only minus were the desserts which did not live up to expectations (tiramisu and panna cota). Creme Brulee was ok. Staff was super nice and helpful, although they could use an extra help as they were overwhelmed and waiting time for food was quite long."
