"I went with anticipation to Bo De Trai in Footscray after reading good reviews on Urbanspoon and seeing a photograph of the very extensive menu. On arrival, we were given a one page menu with about 15 dishes to choose from in total. A huge...difference to the menu that was photographed and placed in Urbanspoon. We ordered the Hue soup and the mock chicken lemongrass rice dish. The former was laced with MSG (I could taste it) with 3 mere pieces of tofu and the latter was a rather small portion. Sad to say, it is unlikely that I will return there, as I would like to support the Buddhist group as much as I can."

"I dined here with two friends - the service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious - we each tried a different dish (chicken, lamb and prawns) and the food was wonderfully tasty, with rich aromatic sauces and just right in terms of spiciness and hotness. We really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to dining here again soon."

They replace your traditional bread with a potato rosti and it completely elevates the dish.<br/ <br/ Service:<br/ The waitress who attended to us seemed tired and looked like she didn't want to be there, but I understand that we all have our days. Otherwise the overall service was standard and the waiter/waitresses were polite and attentative when you asked for their help.<br/ <br/ Overall:<br/ I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice place for brunch. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is calm but lively. The architecture of the cafe is very modern with a slight industrial feel which adds to the calm ambience."

"Second Time coming to this place. Very Yummy healthy burgers. Out of all the burgers, I definitely recommend the Mighty Melbourne Burger THE BEST BURGER ON THE MENU NO JOKE, it has the egg, bacon and meat pattie all-in-one. Only negative was that the chicken salad was very plain but it was very fresh. Will come again for sure!"
