"We came across Genussecke by accident as we hadn't planned to stay in Uberlingen. In our 10 days in Germany, this was the best breakfast by far. Not to mention the best coffee! Christiane is a wonderful owner / hostess of this eclectic shop / café and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. She speaks great English which helps. Don't expect a menu for breakfast just a gorgeous selection of goodies including a delightful array of different honeys and sauces to go with your cheeses, meats, breads and fruit. Having thought we would have a quick breakfast before we moved on, we ended up staying for nearly 2 hours just chatting both to Christiane and other customers. It was a really lovely experience and definitely one to try out if you are visiting / passing through Uberlingen or Konstanz. In fact, I would make a special effort to go there next time."

"Das war Essen war das schlechteste was wir seit Jahren bei einem Griechen serviert bekommen haben.Das Putenfleisch war billigstes Pressfleisch und völlig geschmacksneutral. Die ungesalzen Pommes einer drittklassigen Pommesbude würdig und der Salat völlig unspektakulär. Das ganze wurde nur noch von einem Gyros aus fettigem Hähnchenfleisch (??), wobei kein Hinweis auf Hähnchenfleisch erfolgte, unterboten.Lediglich die Preisgestaltung (38,00 €) erfreut sich einem gehobenen Segment.Einzig die Freundlichkeit der Bedienung ist positiv zu bewerten. Da wir jedoch dort hauptsächlich zum Essen eingekehrt waren kann man als Gesamtnote bestenfalls ein ungenügend und absolut nicht empfehlenswert abgeben.Da das Essen im Nachgang auch noch eine unruhige Nacht beschert hat, wäre es besser gewesen ganz auf eine Nahrungsaufnahme zu verzichten.Wir bewerten normalerweise nicht, da die Geschmäcker bekannterweise verschieden sind. Hier ist jedoch die mindere Qualität der Speisen unstrittig.Schade um uns einen schönen Abend"
