"I'm not the sort of person who likes to do restaurant reviews, let alone whinge via a public website. But today's late lunch at Tropicana (about 2:15 pm, Aug 14) really prompted me to make this comment so the management may know Iran's hopefully make front line staff realise their job is to make the experience of the customers a pleasant one. One of your staff (a young Caucasian girl) - who was assigned to the table close to the counter --- was so rude she just grabbed my plate when I'm not even finished with my meal. She didn't even ask me if I was finished. I probably have one or two spoonfuls left on my plate. Prior to being served the chili-garlic spaghetti which took so long to prepare (more than 30 minutes - really?), I kept looking at the kitchen wondering if my order was forgotten. None of the wait staff bothered updating or asking me. Anyway, when the food came, that same wait staff just hurled the dish in front of me in an unfriendly manner, without saying anything. I somewhat felt like she was not so happy with the job she had to do. That is not the way you treat a customer. If you are not happy with your job, then please leave. Don't ruin the reputation of the cafe/restaurant you are working for with your bad attitude!"
