"Amazing tacos! My wife and I had the 3 taco special (shrimp, fish, and marlin) and each one was awesome. All the protein was fried super well and not greasy. There was a nice bar full of condiments and sauces. Great ambiance with great music and super friendly staff. 100% recommend."

"I had to check this building out - Casa de la Presa - after walking by one afternoon. Beautiful old building that is a shared space for a pottery shop, yoga studio, art gallery, coffee shop, and Mestizo de Mar in the back. The restaurant has a very modern setting with great art pieces. It was loud the night we were there (a large party and rain on the tin roof), but that made it fun, and we have little kids, so we always prefer a loud place! I got the feeling it's not usually that loud. Our food was all excellent with creative twists on some standard Mexican and fish dishes. My husband got the octopus and it was the most tender we've ever had, and I loved the very non-traditional seafood chile relleno. The staff was all very kind, and even made extra potatoes for our kids because they loved them so much."
