"Decent old school style fish and chips. Crispy batter, you can tell they change their oil frequently. They make their own potato cakes and they are absolutely delicious! Soft and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside in an assortment of shapes and sizes! Cheap and quick, don’t expect flowing conversation and you won’t be disappointed."

"These guys certainly know how to run a fish chip shop which is much more than can be said about the other fish chip shops in the area. Great and kind staff customer service. The food is always fresh, the oil in the fryers is changed regularly hence why the chips are always golden and delicious. They also make a mean burger as well, a properOld school fish chip shop burger the way it should be. Keep up the great work guys."

"A great little fish and chip restaurant, best for takeaway as it is a little shop though you could sit on the chairs outside on busy High Street. Delicious flake with chips is a standout and while not extremely expensive, there are better value fish and chips in the local area. Fish on High is definitely the leader though for taste and quality. They are also very well organised, giving you a number when you call and an accurate estimate of the time the order will take to be ready. We have never had an incorrect item in our order (other than an extra potato cake or two). They do have some vegetarian options though we have never tried them.If you like quality tasting takeaway and don't mind paying a slight premium for it then come to this little gem."
