"You don't need a passport and a trip to Lebanon to discover this fabulous food! This is my third visit and again Rouj lived up to it's previous reputation of good excellent food and service. This time I booked the inside booth for a more private dining experience for my staff Christmas Party and we were well and truly looked after and indulged with the Lebanese banquet which is great value. I also booked privately a belly dancer to which the restaurant accommodated happily. My advice just go, go to Rouj Modern Lebanese!"

"The French Bistrot was a good experience. The service from the staff were great and they suggested good dishes. The location is good but the restaurant is too compact and not fancy for the price charged. Value for money is not good unless you book through “The Fork” with 50% off. Prawn and Calamari with cheese Salad The prawns and calamari were cooked perfectly but the cheese sauce was too salty. The salad felt a bit old. 2/5 Grill Pork with roasted potatoes salad Pork was unevenly cooked with 50% mid rare and 50% Medium (not sure how they did that). The salad again is same old (a bit soggy). Potato’s were delicious with nicely seasoned. 2/5 Chicken pesto pasta The pasta was cooked perfectly and the pesto dressing was delicious. Chicken was unevenly cooked with some part of being soft and some were super Hard. The pasta was filled with oil. 3/5 Totally, it was a good experience."

"Great addition to Montague Street. Away from the main crowd at Boundary Street. <br/ <br/ They've got a huge Asian Menu focusing on Cantonese and Viet cuisine. Great variety. <br/ <br/ Roast pork belly was done really well. No gamey aftertaste with a great crunch to the crackling. We switched out a side for fried eggs. It was a nice touch from the kitchen since my friend is on a keto diet. <br/ <br/ Stir fried beef was well marinated. Very tasty. A tad too salty for our liking. We chugged bottles of tap water after the meal. <br/ <br/ Dry egg noodles were a little overdone. Slightly soggy. Would've loved it better if they added a side of sambal chilli and more viet hoisin sauce. The wantons and char siew was 8/10. It comes with a bowl of soup which was overly seasoned. <br/ <br/ Great experience overall. Friendly staff. Nice ambience. Will visit again. <br/ <br/ They should offer a Light Co resident discount."
