"The decoration from Architect Norman Foster (Prizker price winner) is absolutely fantastic. With Cresta, Bobsleigh, Skating and Ski memorabilia. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonably high as we are in St. Moritz .. Twice, I was uncomfortable with the service. Very German and charmless not with the Italian charm that we have generally at the Kulm. NO ITALIAN = NO CHARM ...Worse we try to booked with a foreign accent on Friday, we were told there was no table available. 3 minutes later our wonderful German friend get the reservation. Worse they were 3 empty tables during the whole dinner.Not to mention that My German friend had to rectify the bill which as usual was overcharged. (2 bottles of Bordeaux Pomerol instead of one) Because of the service, which was OK (except the bill."mistake".), with absolutely no charm or comprehension, I did not feel 100% satisfied.The Kulm Country Club has, for the moment not the spirit of a real country club. We feel more in a German Barracs. I am sure that Mr.Heinz Hunkeler, an outstanding professional, the GM of the Kulm, will correct it very quickly."

"Had a few drinks the first night in St Moritz, at the hotell bar on the ground floor. The feeling of being in a room where Europes finest have been drinking champagne and smoking cigars for 100 years was definitely a treat, but the stiff prices, uncomfortable furniture and the stench of smoke made us leave after a quick drink. Quite empty in March, but the service was of course inpeccable!! Very good! I guess I am the type of traveller that looks for charm, something I didn't see this time at the Badrutts. Then again, I would come back for a stay to check out the rooms though, cause the place did intrigue me a bit. See you around Badrutts!"

"Enjoyed a pizza for an appetizer and they made one special for us. Very good! Also enjoyed spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti bolognese. Both were very good. The servers were very friendly. My only complaint is it was warm in there. Will dress better next time!"
