"We were visiting KC, found WBK while searching for a meal. Got there 30 minutes before closing time. We were greeted warmly. Service was great, timely, informative, attentive. Food was beautiful and so good. We had red pepper soup, blackened meatloaf sandwich, and barbecue chicken sandwich served with kitchen fries.. Sandwiches were served on ciabatta buns, they were beautifully plated, generous portions, with perfectly balanced flavor combinations. We shared the soup, and our server very graciouslt brought 2 spoons. This was real, chef-prepared food. I had blueberry sage iced tea, which was great. Prices were surprisingly modest. Will go back any time I am in KC."

"Really cool concept. Nice way to try several taps without breaking the bank. Can be annoying to fight the crowd but all around a great experience. The DJ was top notch! My husband got his card! Place is neat! Decor is unique. Try it out! Edited: Keep an eye out on your bill. They charge you double on your card and you get the half back in 3-5 business days. My husband called up there afterwards and was not too happy...."

We have tried a few varieties and its pretty good though a bit salty. The main courses have been very good, the rice and beans are par. "Service was great very friendly and attentive. Food “slap your momma good”. Wife and I had the blackened catfish and brisket cheese sandwich. Both outstanding. As for sides the Mac and cheese, dirty rice, and fried green tomatoes were by far the best we have ever had. Huge let down when we got to the frys, I was expecting a wow factor but they were just frys. Lol. Still they were cooked perfect. Will eat there every chance we get. We are new to Missouri and can’t wait to take all of our visiting family and friends to EJ’s."

"I came here after the touring boulevard for birthday dinner in kc. the tacos were phenomenal! as vegetarian, they had several vegetarian and vegan options, and not only basic boring options, vegan and vegetarian tacos, which were the best tacos I ever had, my favorite is the cauliflower taco (the taco on the right side of the picture).) the beans and rice (in the picture) were the best beans and rice I ever had after. the margaritas were delicious! the service was fantastic as they were friendly and helpful, and that was waiting minimal. the only part was the chips and salsa was good, but nothing to write home, I had much better. also prices, very expensive! When I asked if I could have my taco spicy, they said they could put some cut paprika on the side. they gave me the 5 small pieces jalapeño to my friends to invite me for the paprika without telling me in front of the hand. Apart from this negative, everything else was fantastic!"

"We drive an hour just to sit and sip tea in this beautiful shop. It's a peaceful environment and all of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
