"Listen... I know 5 stars could be a little ridiculous considering that all Michelin chefs and restaurants out there (that I never ate... However, this is seriously THE best FOOD IN PA, D.C., NEW YORK, OR JERSEY, DAT I 'VE EVER HAD. My father and I were in Torrington to get some machines. We were right next door to the hotel (based... The prices were expensive, but not more expensive than we were. And the food... man, it was worth every penny. We left with a second meal (Leftover). The portions were fantastic. Considering the size of the meal (and the amazing quality!, and considering that you are likely to have remnants out of it, the price was excellent. I had the lobster ravioli, and there were lobster lobsters. We have a well-known local seafood supply near us in Scranton that we love (Southside seafood for those interested seriously amazing fish and this were much better the best I had and made fresh (not take everything away from s.s. their product is always stellar! My father has the Mediterranean fish. It was enough for 2 people who were hungry!(and delicious I was filled after 3 or 4 of the Ravioli, my father could hardly eat 1/4 of what he was served... I read the reviews and was somewhat sceptical. But not after dinner. (We also had salads, drinks and 2 soups and n appetizer of grilled shrimp Risotto, all were amazing. It is worth the 4 hours drive and I write this review about a month later just because I remember how good it was! Seriously, great work to Sarah, our server. The chefs / cook and owners... I'll NEVER FORGT THE FOOD I got a random stay in Torrington. Seriously. Tell them not to hurry if you think I'll do it. (I feel bad if you're not so happy with your meal. All the pasta seemed to have been made this day, including my ravioli and the care for freshness and authenticity really showed. I'll eat there again, even if I have to make an excuse to go to Connecticut and pay $100 for a hotel room. I was really, honest, grounded, how good the meal was. Dive with confidence!"

"Over the past 7 months I have visited this restaurant every time I am in Torrington. I have never been disappointeden disappointed. Even my 93 yo aunt who is Italian loved this place. The staff is very attentive and the food is awesome. Be prepared to come with an empty stomach or you will be taking home left overs as the portions are very generous."

"I ordered on UberEats during normal working hours. Once ordered, I called the restaurant multiple times to confirm the order and delivery but they didn?t pick up the phone. The delivery never ended up coming. My nephew was so excited for his fettuccineAlfredo as it?s his all time favorite dish. However, we were sadly disappointed. This is no way to run a restaurant. Abide byyour orders and make yourself some money. Unacceptable."

"This is one of those diamonds in the rough. I had passed by a number of times without thinking anything of it. But, looking for something new, I gave it a shot. Very happy I did. It has the feel of a local pub. A bunch of beers on tap. Friendly bar staff. Casual but nice enough for a date night. I had the salmon burger and it was exceptionally good. Cooked perfectly so it wasn't dry. Lots of flavor. I'd recommend it. Next time, I'm trying the spicy shrimp appetizer...next table over had it and it looked really good. I'll be back. Worth trying if you're in Torrington and interested in something off the beaten path."
