"Based on previous Tripadvisor reviews, we took a chance and showed up at this restaurant without reservations....the owner greeted us warmly, and offered us a table sitting in an enclosed area on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. We were not sure what to order, and sensing this he suggested we start with a plate of raw fish which included oysters, tuna tartar, raw shrimp and raw scampi. It was beautifully prepared and served on a tray of crushed ice. We all raved how delicious it was. This was followed by a small seafood salad which was equally scrumptious. And lastly, the specialty of the house which was pasta carbonara made with bigoli as pasta and a smoked spada (swordfish).....literally the best carbonara I have ever tasted, and I have eaten lots of Italian food. And to go with this we had owner suggested local wines which went well with our meal. Overall a great experience. Not inexpensive, but in line with finer seafood restaurants."

"Really good food considering how out of the way that this place is and what it looks like from the outside. We had an amazing seafood platter each with Salmon, Sea Bream, Jumbo Prawn, Tuna etc. All reasonably priced, served by delightful staff and cooked to perfection. All at bargain basement price. PS. It is much nicer inside than it looks from the road and the staff are very welcoming."
