"We stayed only the weekend (2 nights/3 days) with our two children in the age of 2 and 4, to escape the heat in the firenase where we live. this place is a hidden gem in the hills with a small stream next to it. great for...family, as there is a small playground in front of it and a farm where they keep cows/horse that the children were enthusiastic to see and feed a few. the heated pool is beautiful and they use minerals (not chlorine) to maintain it. the hotel and the rooms are modern, seem recently renovated and there was very clean..more like 4 stars hotel in italien. what really impressed me when we were dinner and they knew it was the birthday of my man (because I told them when I booked the room), they had made him a whole cake (not just a piece of something.) I had not even asked. eating is very good and all the flesh comes from their own animals. I highly recommend the antipasto misto della casa combo of cut prosciutto salami etc...delicious and comes from their own consisted. the personal was also super nice. they let us check in early and check out late, which allowed us to enjoy the pool and extend our stay. we will definitely go back and bring next time a group of friends with children. there were hardly mosquitoes."
