"Went to Lilburn restaurant on 11/26/22. Ordered the Cajun platter that came out dark/burnt. I was trying to get the waitress attention to ask why it was so dark when a manager came by and asked how could he help. I explained my concern about platter being dark/burnt and he said it was the cajun seasoning. Well i am from Louisiana and our cajun seasoned food does not come out burnt and it has flavor which this did not. The waitress asked if i wanted another platter with less seasoning. They need to realize it is not the seasoning that made the platter dark, the old grease and possibly not knowing how to cook properly. The catfish and shrimp platter I got in replacement was bland without any flavor. So needless to say they will not see me again. This place use to have good food. It has gone down hill."
In nice weather you can even be served in the outdoor area, And into the accessible spaces also come guests with wheelchairs or physiological limitations.

"Visit date 12/30/2020 came here with Dad and Step Mom for a New Year's meal. I like Mexican food and they recommended we go here, since they are frequent customers. The inside of he restaurant is decorated like a Florida seafood shack and has various types of fish hanging on the walls and picture of a maritime adventures. Legend has it that the owner is an advisor seafarer and frequents the ocean. The good, I at least two bowls of chips and sals and order two sides of guacamole. I am very ritualistic so I ordered my usual, two orders of fully loaded beef and cheese nachos. I ate way too much but it was with it."
Anticipate the varied, delicious Mexican cuisine, which is usually prepared with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers).

"Wonderful Homestyle fare. Donnie's is a great place to feed a family affordably. Our family of 5 ate there for under $20! The entrees and sides are all your homecooked favorites such as fried okra, mac and cheese, mashed potatos and gravy and entrees such as fried fish, beef tips and baked chicken. The portions are also huge! You will definitely not be hungry when you leave.<br/ <br/ Donnie himself is a wonderful and kind man who cares about all his customers. He treated us like regulars even when it was our first time going there. He even gave one of our boys an extra piece of fish when he was upset that he had to share with his brother.<br/ <br/ Overall if you want a nice home cooked meal in Stone Mountain Donnie's is the place to go!"
