"This is the most original taste of Vallarta. The seafood that they serve is what they caught that day! We had Chili Agua, fresh grilled fish (Amazing) , coconut shrimp and garlic shrimp. This was all accompanied with a cold beer. It is a little hard to find, but you know you're on the right road when you see the crocodile's sun bathing. Yup real and real big!! A suggestion to those who are adventurous, listen to the locals and bring enough pesos to enjoy the best sea food. They also have a yummy desert called fried bananas that was a wonderful finish to this meal."
In pleasant weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.

"Easy to get to by collectivo from the Nuevo area. The restaurant itself is attractive, airy and open with decent washrooms. We late-lunched on a variety of appies including a ceviche tostada, plus fish tacos and shrimp tacos. All were just average, skimpy for the price compared to similar restaurants, plus the tacos were bland in flavour. But, along with hot sauce and a couple of cervezas each it held us over till dinner. There are a couple of daily drink and meal combos written in Spanish at the entrance way. So, be sure to ask for translation as it can be a good deal. The all-Mexican staff may snicker at your Spanish attempts behind your back but most of the staff was very eager - only 2 appeared "under-motivated".We likely won't return even though we visit the adjacent mall frequently. It didn't wow anyone enough to draw us away from trying the many other options around."
