"We had arrived by bicycle and lunch service had finished in most of the restaurants. We were glad to get something to eat and just wanted omelettes and a salad. 1 ham omelette and 1 crottin omelette was ordered along with a salad niçoise. A...nice salad arrived along with 1 mushroom omelette and 1 ham omelette. Not the best omelettes but OK for hungry travelers When we said we had the wrong order the owner shrugged his shoulders and walked off with a “take it or leave it” comment When the bill arrived we were charged for the dearer cheese omelette. I pointed out his mistake and his response was “You didn’t have to eat it” He is a caricature out of a Maupassant story. Greed and slovenliness are his greatest attributes. Unfortunately his restaurant is well placed to get passing trade so he has no need to make an effort. He and his overburdened wife are well past time for retirement."
In nice weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area.
