"LaMottas is the perfect place to go for Italian food you always feel at home with the LaMotta family and their staff. Great pizza, pastas, chef entree creations, homemade rolls and soups. LaMottas is an institution in Ft. Myers. The family has operated this restaurant in same location for close to 40 years. You know why when you eat there. Service always as good as the food. Our dinner tonight of veal parmigiana and tour of Italy (3 pastas) was no exception."

"Had another great meal at Poppy's! What drew us here initially was the additions of our favorite gnocchi in a divine gorganzola sauce and the best lasagna from Yabo Chef. But we also discovered the excellent pizza by Poppy and bringing one home. They reheat to a crispy crust, yum. I had the really well presented salmon with mushrooms, asparagus, tomatoes in a beautiful sauce over the creamy parmigiana risotto. Hubby had the lasagna. To top it off we split the light and sweet tiramasu. Again, not disappointed with a single thing."

Prices are reasonable portions are fair. I got a combo plate of my chili rellenos quesadillas of which I judge all my mexican eateries. Rice and beans are standard fare. Ah but my rellenos was excellent. A serving of hot chips with house salsa. Ask for the real salsa. Hot spicy. A unique item of a spicy cabbage dish was also excellent. AHHH finally another good authentic Mexican eatery in the Cape. Salsa that is house made and another treat of a fermented cabbage. A big serving of corn chips. Hold off on the chips. On a large hot platter size plate , I got beef Chili Colorado Y Mas. Chunks of beef in a tomatoe sauce,with a chili relleno, refried beans and rice. So delish. For later I took home the super burrito plate. Tasty good, big and so filling. See pic. Service was great.When its cools off I will be back to eat on the out door patio. Give this a try."

"If I could give it no stars, I would. We vacation in Ft Myers often and have been here many times before. The service is always poor to surly, but we give it a pass because the veal is OK. No more. My wife I arrived at 6pm, only 3 tables occupied. The host tried to seat us at a table that looked small for a single, jammed into a corner with folding “card table” chairs. When I told him it wouldn’t do, he said that was all they had as they were busy! This place was empty. The food is just OK, the service is always marginal…why did it take me so long to tell you all to avoid this place!"
