"This restaurant is well hidden at the beginning of the village just behind the beautiful church of buchberg hidden on the left side of the road. it has enough parking space in front of the house walls. before entering the restaurant, you have another staircase to climb. the device is rustic and traditional Swiss. the walls are decorated and the larger dining room, which borders on the open, but covered terrace, is decorated with wall painting. the terrace is also accessible from the outside by another staircase. for people affected, it also has a barrier-free way. the staff is very friendly and there are many masters there. also it is a meeting point for hikers and rafters. one maintains a family climate. the foods are natural and very tasty. the prices are absolutely in the normal frame. as dessert you can choose between different torments and cakes that are all homemade. what is still worth mentioning is the puppenmuseum by frau schmidli. it can be found at the main entrance. on Monday the restaurant is closed. I also belong to regular guests, because I have a lot to stay in the region and look past it occasionally."

"Camino a las cataratas del Rin nos recomendaron recorrer Eglisau, y así lo hicimos, una recorrida por el pueblo, un par de fotos y a seguir, pero de casualidad encontramos este increible lugar, con una magnífica terraza al Rin, las laderas de las montañas, los viñedos, etc... unas vistas de postal.La atencion fue esmerada y pese a que nadie nos entendió ni "JOTA" en español y ni nosotros el alemán, unos cafes y unas riquisimas tartas, el precio muy acomodado por lo que nos brindaron.No le doy un excelente, solo porque nadie me entendió..."

Presenting this in the original home town of Vivi Cola brought a lot of life to a sleepy, remote village. Vivi Cola and its on site presentation in Vivi...Cafe not only looked for itself, but rather motivated close by shops to really put effort into making Eglisau a nice and lively village. Highly recommended in summer, with a jump into the Rhine after a refreshing Vivi Cola."
