"The standout part of eating here is the cool atmosphere with extensive German decorations in small cozy rooms. I had the Touch of Germany to try some different things and was not that impressed. Another member of my party got the Beef Rouladen and it was better than mine. Overall I was slightly disappointed by the food for the price."

"This is a good place for appetizers and wine. I booked the back room for a group event and I think we just had too many people(14). It was a little tight for all of us and their were some orders that were missed. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff was very friendly. I would go back but maybe with a smaller group."

"This place is a few blocks from my dad's house so we decided to stop by. The food was super good and the portions were huge. There's only 2 tables inside the restaurant and the rest of the tables are outdoors so there weren't very many tables to sit at BUT the interior decor is really fresh and updated. Will definitely go again when I'm back in Jeff city. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"Food is good and always made fresh or I just go in at the right time, lol. But I'm in love with the fries!!! Update: My son and I came in only to get a shake to go. I get a medium chocolate shake (which is only 2/3rd the way full mind you) and we go to the car. I get in my seat, start my car and my son says mom you have shake everywhere. Omg I did. There was a slit in the cup and the shake was dripping all over me. My brand new, light blue shirt now has brown spots all over it and I'm forced to go home and cancel plans. Thanks! Minus 1 star"

"Nothing goes together better than a steak burger and a shake. This Steak n Shake location had great service, they were really great to the kids with our group, they loved the paper hats and kid craft project they passed out. The food came fast, our crew enjoyed it all. The waitress was attentive and kind."

"While I understand both sides of the counter, no one was rude during my visit except the employees. the cashier has not greeted any customer, thank each customer and was just unpleasant. they had actually visited my youngest one, but there were several occasions they had not. I will not return to this place, just because of the rudeness of the staff."

"As I new denture wearer, just getting used to her dentures I often have trouble eating foods that I haven't tried before. But being tired of what I know that I can eat without my dentures coming loose, I tried the roast beef. It was tender and I was able to cut it with my fork. Some of it was even shredded. I had no trouble eating it and it was delicious. Everything my husband and I had for supper that day was delicious. I also had a dessert that I had never tried or even heard of before. A raspberry lemon drop. It came out with a plastic form around it that you had to remove. The sponge cake was very tender and light with a hint of lemon flavor. The raspberry jam and lemon topping that was on it made it even better. But, to top it off, the white chocolate curls made it perfection. I will definitely go there again and would highly recommend it. The prices are also very reasonable."
