"La Bell'Epoque welcomed us on a beautiful evening, giving us an almost perfect culinary experience. We decided to treat ourselves to a dinner out of the ordinary, and I must say that our expectations were largely satisfied. The food: Let's start with the stars of the evening the dishes. The lobster linguine was simply divine, with that taste of the sea that makes you close your eyes with every bite. The fried calamari was crispy just right, without the excess oil that often ruins similar dishes. The tuna tartare was a triumph of freshness, and the seared amberjack with red datterino datterino gazpacho? A true poem for the palate. Each dish was a journey, a sensory experience that we will hardly forget. And then, the dessert: a pistachio semifreddo with white chocolate caramel and butter biscuit which closed the dinner in style. It was simply delicious, a perfect balance of flavors and textures that met our every confectionary expectation. A noteworthy ending to an already memorable dinner. The Atmosphere: If I have to find a small flaw in this experience, I would say that the lighting was perhaps a little too bright. A slightly more subdued environment would perhaps have added that extra touch of intimacy and magic to the evening. The Wine List: Moving on to the wine list, here I find myself having to express a small note. For a restaurant offering such high quality dishes, I would expect a slightly wider and perhaps a little more sophisticated wine selection. Don't get me wrong, what we chose was good, but more variety would definitely have enriched the experience further. The Service: Last, but not least, the service. Impeccable. Attentive without being intrusive, professional but warm. We felt pampered and welcome from the beginning to the end of the evening. Conclusion: Despite the small notes on the lighting and the wine list, dinner at Bell'Epoque was an experience we will remember with pleasure. Excellent food, excellent service, and an atmosphere that, despite everything, managed to be welcoming and special. We'll be back? Absolutely yes. And we hope to find a wine list that is a little more up to par with the exceptional cuisine that this place can offer.
