"This place is cash only, so don't be caught off guard! I believe there is an ATM inside the restaurant. The food is classic San Diego Mexican food, with huge portions, and the drive thru that seems almost mandatory. Personally I just go through the drive thru because The place seems small. The food is cheap, the employees are all really cool, and filled up my reusable water bottle for me, and were very friendly even when I changed my order at the window. (Sorry about that! Absolutely worth it, if you're starving this place hits the spot."

"Firstly, as a Mexican food ambassador, I did not take care of this room; it is very tasteless and my sopis were more like a salad. My daughter in Laws Torta was so bad that she didn't even finish it. Has potential, but not sitting on my taste buds."

"You can’t go wrong with the beach and when it come to cravings everyone loves tacos. So we figured why not! Let’s taste some local flavor and see if the buzz is buzzing toward the right kind of food. We ordered our so cal favorites: chicken quesadilla, rolled tacos, carne sada burrito and chimichanga beef. Out of all the selection the chicken quesadilla and the carne was the best. Without help from the salsa these items would not make the cut. The beans were dry and rice was too. This place is good for a quick bite, but lacking in the flavor department. Decent.."

"Beautifully clean and crisp. has a space in the free as well as a large bar area. they must either call or enter their name as soon as the location fills up quickly. eating was quite decent, although not as tasteful as I would like. and the house margaritas will do the trick if they were out of something classic with a stroke."

"Drew was incredible. She saved us as customers. We were wondering if we would continue getting dinner here or not. The service was starting to lack, but she was awesome tonight! So happy even through the communist mask she is forced to wear I could still see joy. She made sure all of our food was prepared exactly how was asked and her eyes sparkled. Thanks Drew! "The original is still the best. All of the knock offs try hard, but they can’t hold an enchilada to Alberto’s. We had some outstanding rolled tacos, delicious burritos—served with a smile. Easy parking, good location and decent prices are here at the original Alberto’s."
