"The fishing lodge is very nice in a small park on the railway pasture in Schifferstadt. In good weather you can sit outside very idyllic directly on the shores of the lake. The interior is convenient, but clean and well maintained. We visited the restaurant on Saturday noon and were the first guests at 11.30am. The Gaststube has no traces and the toilet has only weak traces of the “sleeping around the buffet” in the evening. "Wir besuchten dieses nicht leicht zu findende Restaurant an einem warmen Samstagabend. Wir konnten draussen im Garten (umgeben von hohen schattenspendenden Bäumen) schön sitzen. Die Bedienung (der Inhaber ?) kam nach einer längeren Wartezeit. Er hat eine rustikale Ausstrahlung. Wir bestellten das in anderen Bewertungen so gelobte Rumpsteak und Zander. Leider waren mein Rumpsteak und die Pfefferlingssosse völlig versalzen und nahezu ungenießbar. Der Zander meiner Frau war in Ordnung. Meine Beschwerde beim abräumen (der Teller war noch mehr als halb voll) wurde ignoriert. Auch am Nebentisch wurde ein Essen komplett zurückgegeben. Mag sein, dass der Koch einfach einen schlechten Tag hatte, einen weiteren Besuch von uns wird es jedoch nicht geben."
