Taste let down ...Canned Mushrooms just dont have flavour and texture I hoped to receive..but a slimey feel instead of a Fresh Mushroom taste and texture. "Tasty, generous portions!!! Thank you Mecca Restaurant Many reviews say the pasty is oily.....well, geniine Italian food IS oily because they use alot of oil. The first photo is of the delicious Carbonara I purchased from Mecca on their Tuesday $15 pasta night. The 2nd picture is from the venue across the road same pasta order, but look at the half empty container which I was charged $21 for Order your pasta from Mecca....it's fabulous!!"

"Had a crack at the Aftermath burger and I'm not ashamed to admit I only managed a few bites. That is the most extreme heat I have ever experienced and I have smashed a whole lot of 10+/10 heat sauces and ones with all sorts of claims about being the hottest there it but this hands down took that crown and not just by a little. I'm glad I'm a mechanic because the name really fits as I'm pretty sure my ring gap needs setting. Very impressed that for such a hot sauce it still had a nice flavor as many don't... I would not recommend it less you are the top 0.0001% of people that like insane heat and even then I'd say make sure you glove up. Do not touch your face and before 6hrs post munching apply some barrier cream to the exit (no joke at all serious advice) it hurt! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

Yes..it was a little expensive $200 per couple for 3 courses and wine. Great service, great atmosphere..candle on the birthday girl's dessert. I am heading back there later this month.
