"After arriving at our hotel in the small town of Burg Stargard, we had checked the gastronomic facilities on the Internet and received the information everyone had on their day of rest. We then reserved a table in the hotel restaurant. We had already noticed that the hotel was fully booked and that numerous guests were also expected from this place. When we came to the restaurant at 19:00, the main guest room was completely occupied or. the free tables wore a “maintained” sign. A rear view showed that the terrace was also completely occupied. So we went to the side room and took place at our reserved table. The waiter, who worked alone at the time, rushed through the guest room, only a wink from Madame through the glass door made him aware of us. Shortly afterwards he came to our table, greeted us and gave us the menus. Because we didn't want to order drinks first, but wanted to see the map, he immediately rushed. The restaurant offers good-bourgeois German and mecklenburg cuisine, displaying the map, dishes inspired by the burgers, we cannot fully understand. The whole offer can be seen on the hotel's homepage: [here link] After a brief reflection we had decided and then a while later the waiter came back to the table, Madame ordered “Wildgulasch to Burgherrenart, with (14.95 €), I ordered the “Schnitzel Champi, Schnitzel with Rahmchampignons, Pommes Frites and Salatbeilage” (15.45 €). The waiter thanked and disappeared through the glass door to the vault. It happened a few minutes, then he served the drinks that were really well tempered. It was about half an hour, then the head of the house that had now intervened in service brought our dishes. Madame got a very dark looking wild goulash with a few big dollars meat, plus a not small part of red cabbage and two dollars. On my plate was the plastered scavenger, a part of the frits, some mushrooms in dark cream sauce, a small bowl with cucumber salad and the small “seal garnish” from salad leaf, both on the wild goulash and on my Rahmchampignon we found the “creative” painting of the cook, this time but not with dark balsamico. After the first bites, Madame was thrilled: The wild goulash collapsed when cutting, the red cabbage had bites and contained larger pieces, a clear indication that he was made himself. The lumps also contained potato pieces from their own production. Overall a wonderful food with very good taste (I was allowed to take over the last quarter of the serving again. Also my food was very good, the carving was nicely picked and clearly fritted in the pan, and even if the degradation did not dissolve so easily from the meat, it was nevertheless extremely delicate and tasteful. Of course, the mushrooms did not come out of the can, they were really fresh and well harmonized with the dark cream sauce. The cucumber salad also clearly showed the origins of its own home, the slices were cut so unevenly that no machine creates. The dressing also tasted like Grandma. Finally, the frits were hot and crispy. Also my food was very delicious, with both of us there were no wishes open. To mention that two minutes after serving the boss personally came to our table and asked if everything was okay."
