"Picked up fish and chips for dinner last night. It was not the greatest to say the least. The fish was tough and the fries weren’t great either. It seems that the quality had gone down over time. I will not go back."

"My favourite Chinese takeout was closed for some holiday time - very upsetting - so I had to get my order from elsewhere. My Google research showed Country Place as the closest to home, seemed reasonably priced, had the menu online, offered free fried rice with a minimum $38.00 order - no problem since we were 6 for dinner - and had a decent review. We were able to closely duplicate the dishes that we were used to, including Cantonese Chow Mein, Buddah's Delight (a mixed veggie assortment with tofu), General Tsao's, a beef and broccoli dish, chicken with mixed vegetables, and something else which I can't remember. The quality was very good all around, especially the beef and broccoli, although in general, I felt that the vegees were a bit over cooked. While the free fried rice was included, it was a bit surprising that plain steamed rice was not. 6 dishes for the six of us plus one (small) egg roll each was just right, with only a bit of leftovers. I would indeed go back to Country Place, should my local takeout have the nerve to be closed again !! Please note that any additional comments are based strictly on takeout, and not eat in."

"I took out of this facility twice. one of the better and more authentic Chinese restaurants in the area. Here are the things I have ordered and what I recommend or do not recommend: 1/5 thousand years of egg and pork lobe: I cannot recommend this article because it is very bland. Who ever had a thousand-year-old egg knows a court with this ingredient shouldn't land. I think they only throw ingredients in simple Kongee to make it what does not allow any of the flavors to infuse together. 4/5 roasted rice w chicken and shrimp in 2 types of sauce: I ordered this on two separate occasions and the second time was different from the first. The red sauce was not as red and brighter than the first time. I don't like it when my food is inconsistent 4/5 sweet and sour chicken w pineapple: that was good both times I ordered. One thing I want to change is the onions. You need to remove the skin or the first layer of onion, because it is really hard/heavy to eat. 5/5 Sesame Shrimp with Mayo sauce: The first time I ordered it was good, but I didn't like how the Mayo was watered. Secondly, after giving them feedback, they gave me the sauce on the side and I was very happy! 4/5 deep fried Chinese bread stick: hard to go wrong with this article. Bring a lot of nostalgia when I eat it! Delicious, crispy, but in my opinion could use a little more salt. I'd give them a chance if you don't already have it! Call to make your order so that 100% of your money goes towards the restaurant. If you can avoid these delivery apps."

"Decent place for sushi and I've been a few times over the years. Takeout is ok but there's something about sitting there eating it thats just better. The food is ok. Nothing out of this world but will do the job. Service could use a little pep and warmth. Lots of good selection on the menu and everything tasted fresh. The rolls are big which is nice. Shrimp were perfectly cooked."

"Have been having their wraps for a few weeks. Always have the bacon lettuce wrap. Today had it and suffered acute food poisoning.The wrap seemed stale. It is my fault that I consumed the whole thing coz I was plenty hungry.Severely nauseous and pukish till now. Zero appetite since I had the wrap.Please ensure quality control of your food. This is a public health issue.I hope no one goes through this uncomfortable experience."
