"Ive visited the cafe when ever im in town the place is spotless and inviting always good few people in staff are always very polite and helpfull i usually opt for breakfast which is perfect and very delicious coffee is perfect unfortunatly ive never tried any other dishes yet but intend too all staff are on the ball never have to wait for menu etc every thing is perfect great asset to stranraer keep up the good work"

"We stumbled over this beautiful place on the day after our high season in juli 2017. the best scones I've ever tasted! best cream I've ever tasted, best butter and jam I've ever tasted! also good coffee. I remember that it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy our eating tee and coffee. beautiful environment and the old sweetheart abbey is quite impressive. we have a bit of a ride from south ayrshire, but we can't expect to come back here. I review my calendar, as I see that you are open on 16th February? update: september 2020. I wondered if the tee room would be opened again after the lock-off. I'm glad it was, and the scones are just as good as I remember. I love this place update: December 2020. in any case my favourite place to come to lunch or to the tea and to the cake. backkartoffel with vegetarian haggis is at the moment my favorite and I am not even vegetarian. I like that the haggis has exactly the right amount of heat in it and yes, the skorn should still die! update: mai 2021. I thought I had to get the recipe for these scorpses as I'm going to be a little fanatic about them. it's not about eating, is it? Well, eating plays the biggest roll and believe me, it's great, but it's also about the environment that's beautiful, the teeroom is beautiful, the personal is always pleasant. the whole experience is a tasty bite and I like it. I also want to support the local and their business just as I do, especially in these difficult times right now. Thank you for keeping this tee room open and cooking for us."
