"My wife and I had a lunch buffet at Modern India. We are vegetarians and the choice of food at the buffet was extensive. Along with salad, there were also other Indian starters such as Pani Puri and pakoras. The buffet was laid out such that the meat and non meat dishes were placed on separate tables. This is important for vegetarians as it practically eliminates the possibility of any mix up. The food was tasty and spices were well balanced. Even the dessert choices were plenty. The buffet was priced very reasonably at $12 plus tax. Very reasonable when considering that at other Indian restaurants in Cambridge you are charged this price for one third the selection."

"Great breakfast and at a price that doesn't make your jaw drop. 2 adults and 1 child (who ordered an adult size meal) costed us less than $30, everything tasted great, and we did not have to wait long at all for our food. Will be returning, hopefully tomorrow for breakfast again"

"I have eaten here twice now and both times it was phenomenal. The food comes insanely fast and once it arrives it does not disappoint. The second time that I went, one of the dishes came out a few minutes after the rest of ours did and to compensate we were immediately given a coupon for ten dollars off. It was a really kind gesture for the tiniest inconvenience. I highly recommend this restaurant for the amazing food, great service and vast menu."

"Farm Boy Kitchener: consistent in cleanliness and friendly helpful staff. So consistent that I look forward to stopping in when we are nearby. The produce is fresh, abundant and of a great quality. There are always organic options, which are easily identified and everything seems logically sorted, which makes locating things quick. Store brand items also provide shoppers with great alternatives and reasonable price points. And in addition to great shelved items, this location boasts a large ready (food /take-away area. There are so many varieties of salads and soups and hot and cold table items, that you could easily put together a healthy meal /snack, in no time. There is an in-store bakery and stir-fry section, and after you have selected your fave ingredients/dishes or items, you can immediately enjoy them, in the 'kitchen table ' area (in-store seating area, complete with restrooms, microwave, condiments and utensils . (There is also seasonal outdoor seating, but it is quite proximal to the parking lot. There are a lot of things to love about this location and the staff; and if you are free on Saturday mornings, Kids can hang out /meet a store mascot!"

"The food was so disgusting I couldn’t even eat it after I tried what we ordered. We did the dinner for 2 Vietnamese style. The spring rolls were so cold it’s like they wet them sit out for a whole day after deep frying them. The cheese wontons were so dried out that the cheese was crumbly on the inside and it tasted so stale. We asked for rice with chicken and they gave us noodles that were so raw you could chew on them. It’s like they threw them in boiled water for 2 minutes and pulled them out. The beef with mixed veg wasn’t any better. Everything was super bland and was either severely over cooked or extremely under cooked. Was such a waste of money! Do not order here so not worth it."

"Amazing food! I had the shrimp and salmon with ginger-soya pesto. So good!! My family got the vegetarian plate and the maple salmon which was also so delicious. The portions were perfect. I was very impressed. The flavours were very different and not what I was expecting but in a good way!"

"Best Vietnamese food in town bar none. Not the cheapest but the cheaper places always have lower quality ingredients and simpler flavours. Ben Thanh is consistently delicious and just such high quality. I’m sure the Thai food and the dim sum they have is good but the Vietnamese food is SO good I haven’t been able to bring myself to try anything else yet. But some of those Thai curries smell out of this world good."
