"Real Italian cuisine. Già, mai avrei pensato di trovare in questa zona della Romania un piccolo ristorante che propone cucina italiana, gestito da uno chef italiano, bravo e simpatico, e dalla sua compagna. Quindi se siete in zona e volate mangiare italiano potete tranquillamente rivolgervi a Giorgio, non vi deluderà. Il prezzo è in linea con la qualità del cibo, a pranzo propone anche un menu del giorno a 20 lei (!)."

"Premessa: in genere diffido dai "ristoranti italiani" fuori dagli italici confini (il rischio di trovare di tutto, tranne cucina italiana, è elevatissimo e poi mi sembra corretta immergersi nella cultura locale, qualunque essa sia).Devo dire, però, che questo ristorante è un'eccezione unica nel panorama che ho finora trovato nel mondo (e a maggior ragione in Romania, tanto più a Calarasi, cittadina nella quale non si capita per caso o per turismo, ma per ragioni tipicamente lavorative o di passaggio).L'eccezione è dovuta al fatto che il titolare del ristorante, Giorgio, è italiano nel midollo ossia ha il tipico spirito culinario del Belpaese.In particolare, vi sono le tre principali caratteristiche1) varietà (non si trova mai il medesimo piatto). La cucina spazia dagli antipasti (solo lui sa dove trova burrate e guanciali così buoni e freschi), ai primi (pasta di ogni tipo e sughi di ogni tipo, fatti rigorosamente in casa), fino ai secondi (di carne e di pesce), sorbetti, dolci, vini e liquori.2) creatività. Impossibile elencare tutti gli abbinamenti di salse / portate e ciò dimostra che il buon cibo è un'arte. Inoltre, la grande idea è stata quella di integrare le buone materie prime locali (carne, alcuni tipi di frutta e verdura e perché no...del vino rumeno).3) cura dei dettagli. E' questo forse il migliore ingrediente della cucina. Non è solo carne, ma filetto tagliato in modo corretto e cotto al punto giusto, accompagnato da condimenti consoni. Non è solo pesce, ma sugo di moscardini. Non è solo pasta, ma fettuccine al ragù di quaglia. E pure la mozzarella di bufala ha le sue varianti (origano? pepe? olio?).Quindi...tappa obbligata per gli italiani in loco"
