"I went to Happy Hour because I wanted to eat light before I met Yoga Tropics. For Sushi I usually go to Mr. Sushi nearby or Ogata in PB. It seems like a Chinese family bought the place, maybe recently. On the Happy Hour Menu there was valuable little to eat. I had false soup, dude that Tofu and a salmon roll. There there was hardly anyone, a few women who jumped with the couple who owned the restaurant, which pieces where a part of the Happy Hour price, and the next stand an AA sobrety lunch. No good sign. The soup was salty. The salmon hand roll was miniscule. The Tofu was over. They accused me of green tea. I had to wait a long time for the check, although there were more employees than customers. They gave me a bill for $32, which was for the AA people, and then the bill was for $10. That was so little. Then they said my card wouldn't go through! I went to BevMO next door and got V water and cash and paid them with the same card they had problems with. They said they're sorry to leave them a dollar. I really miss the sushi on the Rocks Happy Hour in the forum. The Happy Hour at the Beach Grass Cafe is also really good. I don't drink alcohol, so I'm mainly going for food. My advice to my neighbors is to stay with Mr. Sushi and try Beach Grass."

"Amazing Sushi, but the staff will make you're dining experience worthwhile. If there's a seat at the bar, then I would highly suggest taking it for the full dining experience. They don't have a cocktail menu, so either you're pairing your meal with sake, beer and or wine. As for the sake we went with the bottle of junmai (cold sake) and chased it with Asahi Black. For the appetizers we went with the chicken (tatsutaage) which was cooked to perfection. Also, the mixed shrimp and vegetable tempura which was also delicious and very generous on the portion size. As for the nigiri, which stole the show for me, I would highly reccommend the ONO (wahoo) which is not found often on many menus, kanpachi (amberjack), unagi (freshwater eel), Hamachi (yellowtail) and Uni (they mainly get from Santa Barbara). I rarely come to north county, but I'll be coming more often now that I've discovered this wonderful establishment."
