"This was my first time at a restaurant like this. We did have to wait and I definitely was not impressed with out wait staff. She never brought us the sushi we ordered and was very aloof. Luckily, our 5 year old and 2 year old were uncharacteristically well behaved for the hour wait (for our cook). When the chef arrived, the experience got so much better! He was funny, made us and the people we sat with (strangers) feel very comfortable and have a great time! The chef had our 5 year old laughing hysterically! It was really nice that he included everyone in the experience and wow the food was so delicious! We will certainly be going back as soon as possible and I highly recommend going here to anyone! Was so fun!"

"I hit this place up once a month or so. Best buffet in Rochester. Under 13 bucks for lunch in today's market is a pretty good value. Lots of variety. Fresh salads and fruit. Food is always hot and looks fresh. Sushi is tasty, and the hibachi is always a good call. The bbq chicken skewers are the bomb."

"This is one of my favorite places in rochester. the owner is a super gracious guy who makes phenomenal eating. The Poke bowls are absolutely top notch, but do not sleep on the rest of the menu. the curry tofu is something of the best I ever had. everything I've ever had here was nothing but delicious, and I'll be back."

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."
