"Typical BP I think, it's gotten worse since pandemic and keeps sliding backwards. Food was NOT GOOD for the price but worst was the kids menu burger was burnt, we had a very disappointed hungry pre-teen."

"I would give this place 0 stars if I was able too, not sure if it was employees or store owners but they were rude. made a order through the phone and they said 15-20 mins I come to pick my pizza up it’s not ready. They need to realize not everybody that calls won’t show up people don’t have time to waste to falsely order something and not show up.And on top of that heads up to the Muslim community there meat is not halal they falsely advertise it as halal when in reality it’s not halal. My friend who did unpaid training here just to slave and do a lot of work at this specific store, has confirmed there chicken that they advertise as “halal” isn’t halal. And the owners are really cold hearted wicked ppl. It’s so sad and trust me if someone brings this to ministry of health they will get in deep trouble for it.I can confirm the chicken isn’t halal since my friend has proof. Not one box of the chicken in the back said halal. They advertise is as halal in the front with old boxes. Also if ur looking to work here don’t even bother they don’t even hire u they slave u for a while before they even hire u and pay u. It’s unpaid training so my friend just left.People like this need to fix up taking advantage of ppl."

"It hurts writing subpar reviews for halal establishments as we need to do our part to support them but this one was a poor experience which needs to be shared.We came for my father’s birthday here last month were very excited. The menu is incredibly loaded with options. After our party of 5, were seated we asked for water. The waiter came back with 4 glasses of water 4 sets of cutlery. We reminded him he said he’d bring out the missing items (he didn’t until the busboy brought out the first dish).They sent our dessert before the entrees (we ordered pizza) then somehow sent out the last dish we ordered first. It didn’t make any sense when we asked the waiter, he brought over his manager who tried to explain that their kitchen works on whatever item gets to them first they don’t hold items back which makes sense from a kitchen’s perspective but not from an ordering/Waiter’s perspective. If that was the case, we should have ordered entrees, ate then ordered Dessert but that wasn’t communicated to us.As for the food, the desserts were what you’d expect from a Demetres level establishment but the entrees were subpar. The butter chicken poutine is tandoori chicken on a bed of fries nothing more.Overall, it was a very poor experience but I hope they can get better because we need more Halal spots!"

"They have their own signature sauce and everything is Halal-Mash allah, I have their wings (ammer! the soße is devine) , the rindfleischburger (signature soße is great I demolished it) that are ridden with a kind of cajun, I think so good! service is quite fast, beautiful places. I love mashallah"

"Right near the Hotel, just a small walk. The atmosphere is busy and buzzing but it's a large restaurant and people like to converse. We were visiting for an event in Toronto so we went to Jack Astor's, what a treat!! Service was great, staff...right there to please and the food was really good. I've never been to this restaurant before, hoping they'll have more in the US. I definitely would recommend it........I had a seafood dish, my husband ordered a steak dish. What we really liked was the portions were perfect, Fabulous!!"
