"Compared to other 5 star hotels and other Relais Châteaux, this one was not up to the standards, although they practice the prices of a 5*. Basic and sober deluxe room, no airconditioning, no separate toilet, very noisy ventilation in the bathroom,... . A very large terrace but with view on a distillery and a flooded horse jumping track (side view on the medieval castle ruins which was nice). We booked the A7 stopover formula with 3 course dinner. The dinner tasted good but couldn't be compared to other R C dinner experiences (main course was a schnitzel, certainly tasty but not really what we expected). Breakfast was also disappointing, dry bread, not much choice of delicatessen and cheese, jam or pastries,.... Luckily the personnel was friendly but overall it was a disappointing experience."
