"I was more than in japan and eating is my hobby. so I feel confident when I say that barcelona have some of the best Japanese restaurants in Europe (shunka, koy shunka, kak koy, yashima for decoration and atmosphere, etc. but Barcelona... misses a real traditional restaurant with Japanese taste. so far. taoyaka is the missing piece we've been waiting for. they have a limited menu, but each individual dish has exactly the taste of the regular restaurants in japan, which for the average japanese and if you take the first bite. they feel like in a restaurant in the middle of tokio, yokohama or osaka. is like in japan without traveling. from something as basic as edamame or gyoza (with the really traditional sauce) to mixed sushi with a nitriri that is not served almost nowhere in barcelona because we do not appreciate it, but in japan is mandatory, the real nitriri of omelette (tamago,) they focus on the traditional taste. if most Japanese restaurants (from japanese) in barcelona have adapted the taste to the local taste, taoyaca offers them the opportunity to be in japan, in barcelona. finaly, the missing piece of Japanese cuisine came to barcelona.
