"We went at lunchtime Friday, had the small cod and chips for two people. Lovely fish, chips and peas, with onion ring, bread and butter and a pot of tea. £7 each, which, like the service and the staff was excellent. Going back next week."

"Ordered a take away for 4 people so we had a variety of dishes. The best by far was the crispy duck and pancakes. The remainder including ribs, chicken curry and char Sui in black bean sauce was okay but nothing special but the chips were a bit soggy. It is very quick in here and it’s handy and no doubt we will use it again."

"We had lunch here yesterday and we were pleased that everything was made fresh. However our food took a ridiculous amount of time to come, the only other family in the restaurant who came in after us received their food before us! The chips were disappointing and the food was over priced for the portions we received. The ladies toilets were dirty too. Not a great experience"
