"Friends and I showed up late Friday afternoon. There was already a queue outside. We had to provide our names and number to the receptionist so our group could be listed down. We waited another 40 minutes before being called and seated. It’s very hot inside and quite cramped. The food was incredible though. We ordered the Sooda Bulgogi, Cheese Sooda Box, and Sweet/Spicy Chicken. Very good food, but I wonder if it’s worth all that wait. And heat."

"I just happened to see Big Star as I drove by. On the way back I stopped to take a look at the menu. I saw so many people enjoying the sandwiches I had to try. I ordered the classics corned beef sandwich. Half a...pound of meat with Swiss cheese on rye bread with grainy mustard and a home made pickle for $10.95. It was delicious. The place is new, clean and well lit. It was lunch hour and only one person making the sandwiches made it too slow. That knocked it down a notch for me. Otherwise it was excellent. A must try for those of us living in beautiful Burnaby."
