"Having visited Fuseta a few years in a row, Pierrot had been our favorite go-to place the first time we were there. It had fresh, high-quality food at great prices, something that can be said about all the restaurants around the square. But what made Pierrot stand out was the outstanding service, relaxed, incredibly friendly and attentive. Last time we were there, we learned that ownership had changed and while Pierrot didn't change much from looking at it, the staff now had changed. Waiters were a bit too eager to come across as entertainers. This is something that is probably called for in tourist towns, but it doesn't quite fit into Fuseta. However, that's just my point of view and it definitely isn't meant to say that the waiters weren't nice enough, because they were. Also, food and prices are still good and Pierrot is still a place I can recommend without reservations. It just used to be even a little better before."

"We have come to love Place To Be in Fuseta Portugal. It is run by Marisol and Orlondo who have a great vision for having a restaurant that stands out from the traditional Portugese restaurants you find as their neighbors. From having several conversations with the owners over the past few months we have come to know that they have a tremendous investment in delivering excellent food with great flavors. They are extrememly friendly and accommodating and bake their own bread! They make the best hamburgers in the area. The Boss, Orlondo's signature burger, is enough for two people. Marisol makes a fish dish with 5 different kinds of fish that is to die for. They both are great chefs and take turns in the kitchen. You will be luck whichever one cooks for you. Sincere people with a love for food they are willing to share. Strongly recommend you take advantae and try them out. Lunch is the time for the plate of the day and in the evenings food is a bit simpler, and delicous none the less."

"We had an incredibly good lunch here. My wife had grilled black pork ribs and I had a grilled sea bass (which we then share half and half like almost always because it give us the best variety and food experience) and shared a big mista salad. This day being able to choose from both sea and land made for the very best possible surf and turf meal. I chose the fish from several laid out to pick from and watched it grilled as we sat and drank a beer. What a great way to spend an afternoon lunch time. Watching the boats, smelling the food cooking and visiting in a little village. This restaurant obviously caters to us tourists but seemed to have at least as many locals eating there too."
