"Unfortunately, the advertised ‘Extended Eat Out to Help Out’ offer is misleading. Despite the standard EOHO being off food up to this restaurant has adapted this to without informing customers. The two EOHO signs displayed today don’t mention can apply any offer they like and I support local businesses in choosing to attract custom on a basis that suits them. However EOHO has has been standard in August supported by government and has been repeated on the same basis by many businesses in September. Advertising on this basis gives an expectation to the customer.The adaption of the EOHO discount from to only becomes apparent when the bill arrives that’s if you notice in time.Starters and mains arrived together, which we forgave at the time.We’ve twice been charged for Carbonara when it is on the printed menu and online.Please be more honest with your customers on any promotions and update the price of Carbonara"

"My wife and I visited today with a voucher someone got us, which we didn't know needed activating. The staff were fantastic and activated it for us and sorted everything out. We was promptly seated and served, 3 courses and a few drinks we loved the starters! The mains were good but I found my pasta dish a little bland but other than that the food was a amazing. Can't fault the staff at all they were really professional and friendly, would happily reccomend and return."

"After a few back to back meetings I really wanted a fancy glass of cocktail at Purl, but sadly they were completely booked. Purl's loss was Il Baretto's gain I guess (because we landed up having quite a big dinner). Il Baretto is essentially a very posh restaurant and wine bar without the pretentious people really hard to come across places with this combination. The waiter was very polite and so was the hostess who escorted me to the table and took my coat for me. They have a very big wine book, not just a list They managed to impress my French friend who is planning to start his own Vineyard (Now that is something). We ordered for a bottle of red, and even though I am not the biggest fan of Red myself I liked the wine. The food was good too but I wouldn't say the same about the quantity. My main was close to 30 pounds but I wasn't full after it I had lamb chops. However it was very tasty and the meat was perfectly cooked! They have great freshly made bread always a winner and the tuna starter was very fresh and flavoursome too. The only reason I am giving this place a 4 star is because of the price as our meal for 2 was around 150 pounds. Let's face it, that's a bit much for a random Tuesday night dinner. Verdict : Great food, Great Ambience but save it for special occasions!"
